We believe in nurturing both our environment and the bright minds who will help protect it. Our annual scholarships recognize academic achievement and provide financial assistance to students studying at Florida-accredited colleges and universities.

Founded with a love for nature and community, we support environmental education, local beautification, and the preservation of our natural resources. Scholarship Overview
The Longboat Key Garden Club is proud to support the next generation of leaders through our annual scholarship program. These awards recognize academic achievement and provide financial assistance to students pursuing their educational goals at Florida-accredited colleges and universities.
Who can apply?
Students who are pursuing a degree in the natural or marine sciences are encouraged to apply. Fields of study may include, but are not limited to: Botany, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Ecology, Forestry, and Land Management.
Sophomores and Juniors currently enrolled in a Florida-accredited college or university.
Seniors and Graduate Students who have been accepted into a Florida-accredited college or university.
To help students take a thoughtful approach to their college decision process and to help pay for college, College Raptor awards a $2,500 scholarship four times per year.
The Process

Submit your Essay on or before December 31, 2025.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
Be legal residents of the United States, District of Columbia, or a U.S. Territory.
Be age 16 or older.
Be enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2027) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning (college, university or trade school).
No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
Scholarship Databases
Scholarship databases allow you to create your personalized profile and filter scholarships by a variety of categories so you "matched" with scholarships that are best suited to you in addition to the very broad scholarships everyone is qualified to apply for. The scholarship databases are all FREE.
