If you were notified that your FAFSA® was selected for Verification by the Department of Education or Eckerd College, you and your parent will be required to complete a Verification Worksheet and may need to provide income and tax documents from the 2023 tax year.

Completing the Verification Process in a timely manner will ensure that your aid offer is accurate and you are eligible to receive all applicable Federal financial aid. The verification process must be fully completed prior to the disbursement of Federal financial aid funds.

You will receive an email with the subject line "2025-226 Verification Worksheet Dependent".
This form has been started for you to reduce confusion.
If the Office of Financial Aid has any questions, they will contact you prior to sending out the form.
After you complete the Verification Worksheet, you will send it to Parent 1 from your FAFSA® to complete.
Once the form is completed by both parent and student, the Office of Financial Aid will review the form and either reach to you for additional information or let you know that your verification has been successfully processed.
